Slash-Commands and mentions
In the description of an activity and in messages under “Comments and discussions” you refer to other activities, to ERP and Salesware data or to people with a few keystrokes. The references are clickable and show a short preview.
Refer to data with “/”
Section titled “Refer to data with “/””- Type “/”. A selection of all activity types and kinds of data appears.
- Keep typing to narrow the selection – such as “/it” for items – and confirm with Enter or a click.
- Enter your search terms in the search window and select the matching hit from the suggestion list.
The reference is now in your text. Clicking it shows a preview; via the three-dot menu you open the full record.
Example: You want to refer to the printer “HP 254 dw” but do not know the item number. You type “/it”, select “Item”, search for “hp 254 dw” and select the hit. Anyone reading your message opens the item with one click.
Mention people with “@”
Section titled “Mention people with “@””If you type “@”, the list of your colleagues appears immediately; each further letter narrows it down. The same is available via the Slash-Command “@ Mention”.
Clicking a mention shows the key details of the person. From there you can call them, write them an e-mail or a chat message, or assign them a new task.
Once you have mentioned someone, you can mark the message as urgent – see Comment and discuss. Where you yourself have been mentioned is shown by the navigation filter “I was mentioned”.
